I know black is "for" funerals... and I bought this super cute Springy white halter dress with pink and green flowers, but I cannot find the right shade of pink or green shoes to match and that stresses me out! I know I'm not supposed to wear white shoes after Labor Day, true or just a myth? so then I fell back on this adorable short strapless black dress I have to accessorize with red shoes, red bracelets, etc... is that off limits as well?! Thanks

Recently I purchased a mutiple strain of white beads that had a "creamy" appearance to them with a oval shaped piece about two inches long by one and a half inch long.

The oval has an elephant carved on it with its trunk up raised and the piece is dated l908 long before the ban on Ivory.

How can I tell if I have Ivory or just regular cow horn?

hi i recently got a great tatoo on my lower back, and have bought a 2/3 length jaxcket to show it off, but i get a bit cold! my friends were similar stuff but don't seem to feel the cold like i do, will i get use to it? a friend qho works in a chemist reckons putting heat gel on my back might help... i am pleased with the tatoo so don't want to hav it covered up all the time with long baggy jumpers!

I noticed a lady in a shoe shop the other day. She was part of the staff. She was tearing shoe boxes apart very loudly and making lots of small pieces. She was wearing four inch heels too which she moved around as she stood. She seemed to be enjoying tearing the boxes as she was laughing and joking with another member of staff. Do any other ladies like to break or tear things while they are wearing their heels. Does wearing the heels make you feel more powerful or confident to do that?

Can anyoneone tell me what is NICE about guys wearing their jeans half way down their hips exposing half their boxer shorts and the crutch of the jeans is about level with their knees...it looks totally stupid, this fad was in a few yrs ago and I couldn't get my head round it then and even less so second time around...Whats your opinion ?

With alll this hoopla in the news about Spain banning excessively thin runway models, I have to think we have better things to focus our attention on. It seems so superficial to me. Sadly, many women try to emulate these "stick figures" often times sacrificing their health in the process. Women of all shapes and sizes are beautiful. If someone is focusing on a person's appearance rather than the type of person they are, then that person will one day wake up to a sad reality... AGE. Appearances change, but the good inside a person will stand tall and remain with them forever. The majority of people are not stick figures. Clothes, and the resulting fashion shows, should be designed for people with body types that reflect that of the majority, not size 0000 models that represent such a small percentage of the worlds population. Other than that, I really don't care. What do you think?
