there is a new shop open in muswell hill called Leila that does nice clothes reasonably priced too, i think they have some stores in the west end as well. On south molton st (near bond st)there is a lovely designer shop called Aftershock if your looking for something really special you could get your whole outfit including shoes from there, dresses are around the £200 price mark

ok, where do i start! :)
first of all you don't mention a budget, but I have just got myself a lovely dress from ASOS - here's the link:
http://www.asos.com/Naughty-Pleated-Waist-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=102678&cid=2631
If that's a bit too dear, try the Spotlight Collection by Warehouse (www.warehouse.co.uk) or Discoo.co.uk. All do next day delivery for a bit of extra dosh.
I hope you have a great time!

having never been to Scotland i don't know what shops are there. Monsoon and oasis do fab dresses but are expensve. If there is one near you try a primark they are cheap, not that dazzling but the accessories are cheap as well so you can jazz it up.
