How much influence does fashion magazines this content have on their purchasing behaviors?

I would say the give me more inspiration than anything else. There have been many times that I've gone shopping and don't seem to like anything I see. Either the color's wrong, or it doesn't fit right, or I just don't like it on... Sometimes looking at fashion magazines I get inspired to try something different, something I wouldn't normally consider my style. I've come up with some interesting looks that way that I've received many compliments on.

On another note, I make beaded jewelry as a hobby. Sometimes I'll see something in a magazine that inspires me. I don't try to copy anything, but I'll get an idea that incorporates an element of what I've seen, or that evokes the same kind of feeling as what I've seen.
