When u purchase jewellery, sometimes the salesgirl informs you that it is silver, gold plated, and sometimes they say that it is silver, gold polished (from what i think.. i believe that gold polish is when they coat it with a gold coloured chemical)

Were I work they do a costume contest every year. I dress up but, seem never to win. I need really good ideas. They judge on everything from makeup to costume and orginality. Please can anyone help me. I live in hawaii and work for a grocery store. I was thinking about a customer from hell but, I don't really know how to do that costume with makeup and everything so if anyone has any ideas for that to that would be cool or any other ideas works too.

Every brand T-Shirt I try on in the same size is a different size, even the same size within the same brand. I hate it, you can't just go into the store and buy a t-shirt you like in a size. Why is there sizes on them even? There needs to be a standard size.

We're invited to a VERY fancy wedding in Manhattan -- wedding is a church wedding at 3:30 PM, then the reception is a black tie affair at the Pierre, starting at 6:00 PM. My question is: are we expected to change clothing between the two events??? My husband is wearing a tuxedo and I am wearing an evening gown to the reception -- it is tasteful, but sleeveless with a shawl, floor-length. We are staying at a different hotel from where the reception will be (can't quite afford the $1000+ rooms at the Pierre!). Should I plan to wear something different to the actual church wedding (and maybe a regular suit for my husband) and then go back to our hotel to change into eveningwear?
