Were I work they do a costume contest every year. I dress up but, seem never to win. I need really good ideas. They judge on everything from makeup to costume and orginality. Please can anyone help me. I live in hawaii and work for a grocery store. I was thinking about a customer from hell but, I don't really know how to do that costume with makeup and everything so if anyone has any ideas for that to that would be cool or any other ideas works too.

well i love to make my own costumes every year this one is a real challenge. i dont know in what dept you work in but hear are a few ideas i think might work: 1st-you need to have a ton of coupons either in your uniforn or outfit, if allowed to wear out-fit i would get an overcoat as if you were going to steal things have some of your own food hanging out of pockets you know like shoppers do who open a bag of chips eat a few then put down, also grapes a few still left on stem hanging out of pockets, your hair in rollers, wild make-up like overdone eyeshadow bright blue, red lipstick, fake eyelashes, bright blush, a beauty mark on cheek, really thick penciled in eyebrows arched like a clown sort of like MIMI on DREW CAREY SHOW if you can stuff your out-fit on the backside and use old pants bright and mismatched then stick on the back old rappers of food items can be hot glued also you can have depending on how far you want to take it you could also have either tolietpaper roll sticking out of your coat or a stream of it on the back of shoes. You also need to have several credit cards the sample one they give you as offers in the mail when they want you apply so those can be in sticking out with your ton of coupons along with your shopping list a few pages long like computer printing paper the rollkind. I won my contest last year with a t-shirt that cost me $15 bucks, and body paint and hairdye to match it. I had the Blue Screen of Death error msg printed on a blue shirt at my local mall, and just painted all my exposed skin to match it. I even found a cute little skirt and hooker boots that matched the color almost exactly. The judges claimed that they "couldn't possibly think of anything scarier."
Just get creative. Sometimes it's that random thought that you let yourself entertain that makes your most successful brainchild. Keep working with those thoughts that could never work, until you have an Idea you could actually see through from start to finish, and you'll most likely be amazed at the results. My costume had started out as a joke between friends frustrated by their computers, and turned into a $200 prize.

My friend was a One Night Stand. He actually won first place for it.
Took a piece of styromfoam, cut a whole in it, put his head through it, put a table cloth over the styrofoam so that it draped down his whole body. Glued a condom to the table, a ashtray with cigarette, alarm clock and a battery operated lamp that you could turn on and off. Since that probably wouldn't be appropriate for work, maybe try something like.... a big present.. have a tag that says, To: Men From: God.

well myself has won a contest for best costum for Halloween and i dressed up with a cat costume from wal-mart then i got the mask to match and got body paint and painted my arms and legs like a cat print. It was cool but as long as it is creative I'm sure it might win.

well, i don't think costume from hell will be a good idea. make it a rapunzel with a long golden hair or anythng that's a fairytail. cuz that's preety. don't put too much make-up cuz they're looking for orginalty right? i bet u'll look great!!

Go as the mistress of the dark. There you can show a little and still be covered. The long black hair, high heels, and make up that is to die for.

maybe u should be a pretty fairy or a fallen angle or a french maid something cute and add a lil spice to it so it wouldnt look like regular.
