from an outside view

to get my hair in a style i can either not wash with shampoo or cond, which makes it oily but means i can style it 24/7 or wash it, and cake it in gel.

i prefer the oily hair look, but dont wanna push ppl away cos im dirty or something. Gel just eehhhhhhh, hard unmoving shiny hair, i ahte it, but i need one or other.

which is better, ie do ppl hate oily greasy hair?

I'm 18, so i technically don't have to ask, but I'm still in high scchool for a year and live at home, and don't want to make them mad. My mom has said that people with strange piersings(tounge, nose, ect.) are "cazy" and "wierd", but she commented that she liked my friends. Also, I'm a guy, so, are cartilage piesings common, I've seen it on some guys and like it.

I don't want for this to sound racist but I really feel my neices (and maybe even myself!) need some dark skinned women to look up to, because everywhere I look, in the media it seems the dark skinned black female is portrayed as unattractive. Even in sitcoms all the mens wives are light skinned and the more popular black celebrities of the moment are all light skinned women, this affected me while I was growing up and I dont want to see the same thing happen to them
