It depends on your natural color...sun in will lighten it but more often than not turn it an orangy brassy color. Try REAL lemon juice...if you are going to lay out or be outside, twist your hair into 4 or 6 little buns and slice the lemons and squeeze the juice on the bun, and wrap around.

i have brown hair and i really wanted blonde hair so i went to the store and i bought maybe 5 lemon comtaners and ipored them all on my head and sat in the sun 4 a hour and it didnt make a big diffrence at all i still have brown hair so my advice is streak it thats the closes your going to get 2 be blonde

I have naturally dark brown hair and the ONLY thing that's ever worked for me besides dye is John Freida's Beach Blonde stuff.
You put in in your hair and then just go out in the sun. It'll lighten it up the more you use it. It's pretty amazing stuff!

theres this cream that you can buy...cant remember the name but its found in beauty supply stores like Sally's ...anyway you put it in your hair and the sun lightens it! or theres this spray you can buy too...sun does the same thing.

ok if u have never put anycolor on your hair u can color it ok...other wise u will need to use bleach yuk its hard on ur hair u can put color on color but u cant lift color with color
