As long as you know what you want, the size and the location. I have four and am planning on a half sleeve. They are addictive so beware.
It has become more accepted that a lot of people have tattoos. For work, all depends on what you do. For the most part, if you are in the office (I have been in the past) you wouldn’t be wearing sleeveless tops or baring your belly..
I have worked in retail before and have had customers inquire about mine - has never been a problem with me. Mine are on my arms, shoulder and wrist.
Good luck!!

NO...NO...NO... Tattoos are forever. A persons thoughts and attitudes change, every day every year. Look at your parents, one time they were young and acted and thought differently. You mature and life events change how you feel about things. When you grow older and think different you may wish you never got the tattoo. What if you meet a dream guy and he thinks all girls who have tattoos are trash. Is that worth the risk???

No, absolutely no please. Did you know ones you have a tattoo you can't donate blood? And what if these person who needs it is someone special or a relative. Would you do a thing for vanity or preserve something for an emergency. And these are not safe you can get infected with different types of disease. Don't do something you will regret for the rest of your life. Hope I helped you

Nope. There are ideas that you want to express to the ones around you, to look cool, but there are many people who do not look good with a tattoo they got when they are young, because it just doesn't fit when you get old. That's the whole idea, that you are gonna die before you get old. You're a badass, and you are gonna flame out long before you stop being cool. Well, that's nice, but don't bet on it.
Draw on yourself with a permanent marker.

Don't do it. When I turned thirty five I thought I might kiss my youth goodbye with a tattoo, till I saw an older woman in the change room of my gymn with a sagging faded tatto on her arm. Not pretty at all.

If you do, get one that means something to you, not one of the trendy ones that will date.
Also get it where you can put it away, like on your butt or chest, rather than on your neck or arms. This way if you don't like it or you are in a situation where tattoos are not acceptable, you can hide it. Or show it off when you want!

If you must ask strangers I'd say no. What you put on your body today may be a major disability later.
Ask yourself why. To keep up with your peer group? To gain attention? To advertise something? All the other kids, teens, young people are doing it?
Think long and hard before having something permanent affixed to your body.

A beautiful tattoo isn't bad.
The bad thing with a tattoo is that you can't rid of it very easily!

do what you want to do, but make sure that you use your own judgement on what to get. you wouldnt want to be stuck with something you will end up wishing wasnt there. steer away from possible regrets. also pick the right place. i think the hip is a good place ya know?
