I am Native Hawaiian. I tried fake tan years ago, but since my skin color and tan are different than they way white people tan, it never ever looked right on me. I would like to try again since I know they have gotten better, but I don't want to spend money on it and then have it make me look ridiculous. Has anyone else with Hawaiian genes or even people with olive skin tone had success with it? And if so, what brand?

I never had skin problems before. All through high school, etc, never really had zits. Last month, I started breaking out. I thought it was pre wedding stress, but now, it is 2 wks after the wedding and I am still breaking out all over my chin. They aren't huge zits, but little ones. I have tried acne gel, biore face cleanser, etc. Nothing is working.
Also, I just got a Marylin Monroe piercing (for those who don't know, it is a peircing in the general area that Marylin's beauty mark was) and you are supposed the soak it in salt water 2x a day to help the healing process. The only problem, now the skin around my piercing is really dried out. I can't do much, because I have to keep stuff away from it while it is healing, but if anyone had any ideas about how to relieve the dryness, that would rock. Thank you!

I want to be a sideline reporter for ESPN when I graduate from college. But a friend of mine who used to work for ESPN said that its a very tough job to get and that I should probably get into modeling or something. I've been told I should be a model before, but always shrugged and went on with life. And now I learn that I pretty much have to in order to get my dream job. How do I start modeling? I'm 20...

In my opinion, just like black people look prettier when they don't bleach their skin/eyebrows/hair, whites look better when they leave their skin fair (or whatever natural tone it is). How could you possibly think orange skin is prettier than fair skin? I don't know about you, but I find Marilyn Monroe a lot more attractive than Paris Hilton. It especially ticks me off when redheads try to tan, but they just keep burning. Can't they take a hint that they were just meant to be fair? Redheads aren't supposed to be tan. Some white people can get a golden kind of touch from the natural sun which is fine, but anything other than the natural sun, especially spray-ons, are ridiculous. It's your choice, but if you think they make you look more attractive then you are sadly mistaken. Michael Jackson and that Oompa Loompa Paris are just two of the too many examples of what happens when people try to defy aesthetic nature.
