I usually wear tees, jeans and sneakers but I'm going to go to a prep school which has a strict dress code and basically, I have to dress preppy. I have an idea of what clothing to wear (polos, shirts, skirts, right?) but SHOES? I never paid any attention to shoes so can someone help me???

Penny loafers, deck shoes, docksiders or saddle shoes.
Thre first and last are the most preppie.

well, most preps here wear flip flops, or those flat closed toe shoes ... can't recall the name right now.
Although just because everyone one else is prep shouldn't mean you should have to go by all their guide lines. Although, sure I understand not wanting to be the odd one out, but don't EVER be afraid to wear shoes that just YOU like, even if they aren't popular there. It's really not THAT big of a deal.

Go to your local department store (like Dillards, not Sears) and go to the junior section. Buy from there. Trust me, that's all I do.

just wear simple black shoes. some people prefer shined shoes but it's up to you.

I don't recommend sneakers or flip flops.
