I have shoulder length dark hair, layered but don't suit my hair up. I am not wearing a veil but I might like something in my hair. My dress is strapless

wel if you dont want your hair up then you could have your hair staritened then have litlle peices of hair on the top layer curled into ringlets also you should try a flower with feathers on it in your hair as a hair peice sort of thing it would suit dark hair!

This is a long shot but have u thought about having a nice warm highlight put in? I know u said u dont suit it up and i guess cutting it would defeat the object but there are lots of colours u can have put in-- give it some depth. I think a tiara would go nice with a strapless dress.

I had my hair up with a few curls and i also had a veil with tiara but it still looked lovely when i took off the veil for the evening.

I'm sure whatever u choose u will look lovely

Congrats

Congratulations!

You don't say if your hair is fine or thick but what about a fascinator? They are these hair accessories that are bigger than a clip but smaller than a hat. It could be fixed onto an Alice band or onto a clip. It could have feathers or flowers or little jewels.

I think you should go for something that:
1. You will feel comfortable moving around with all day (believe me a long dress is enough to cope with without moving around as though you have a book on your head for fear it will come out of style.
2. Something special, because you don't on your wedding day when will you?
3. Something that makes your face look good. You might want to hide your ears, or show off some new earrings you got for the day - take this into account.
4. Do you trust your hairdresser? ask her opinion. Go for a trial (or two or three...) and show her pictures of styles in magazines you have seen and like. She will tell you if they are possible for you.

Have a lovely day!

Any style that makes you feel pretty and goes along with style of wedding you are having and your dress style.

Don't wear an old-fashion style if your wearing a modern style dress. Don't go too fancy if your wearing a simple dress.

Remember you want the significant other to have a memory that will compliment your wedding for years to come. So keep them in mind too when selecting the style.

Go to a salon and tell them to put your hair half up and half down. Ask them to keep your bangs straight and side swept to your face, the top should be heightened and your front hair should be grabbed together and curled loosely to the back of your head. The bottom should just be left with loose curls. It will look amazing. This hairstyle suits every face!

Try a fancy clip either side of your head to keep your hair from falling in your face. They could be jewelled or floral etc.
Check out Accessorize for examples.
Sounds nice.
Congratulations and all the best for the future.

get it in soft curls, but you could take to sort of strands and pin them at the back with a flower, dead simple but not easy to describe. Good luck with the wedding!
