What would be a good solution that does not require a $1500.00+ lens? I have been told to try a spotting scope with an adapter, as well as a telescope with an adapter. My skill level would be hobbyist. I'm using a Canon Eos and an Eos Digital (Rebel).
Thanks!

Im gotta do this Frankenstein project for monday, and I chose to do a movie poster that has to be 16 inches by 24 inches. If I do it in photoshop in that size and take it to somewhere like office max, would they be able to print it out at that size with good quality?

My son is learning to make stop motion videos with clay and we can't figure out how to make an object look like it's flying through the air like a ball being tossed back and forth between 2 people. We are using a VHS video camera. Can anyone give us some pointers? Thanks to all!

I understand in many ways, shadows are a big "no-no" in photography.

I also personally believe that in some cases, they can enhance a photo's artistic appeal.

I know there are hard shadows and soft shadows as well.

I was wondering if there is any general guideline or rule of thumb professional photographers use when it comes to using them or avoiding them. Or, is it just a matter of interpretation?

I recently bought some large and medium format negatives dating from the late 1930s through the 1960s. I have no idea who the photographer(s) may be or if they are even alive.

Do I own the publication rights to these images? What would happen if I sold them to a magazine or for an ad campaign?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
