You must be refereing to Casein Prints also known as Milk prints. This is a fairly easy process. Below are the insructions needed to create a milkprint.
Making the coating-

Mix 1 oz.(30 ml) of instant powdered milk with 7 oz.(199 cc) HOT
water. Stir well. Add a few drops of 28% Acetic Acid or Lemon juice
to curdle the milk.
Strain the curds through cheese cloth and wah the curds in cold
water.

correction wash the curds in cold water

Crumble the curds into a beaker and add 2 oz.(50 cc) of 1 %
ammonia and mix well.

Mix 1/2 teasp.(2 1/2 ml) of casein soln.(curd mix) with 1/2 teaspn.
of Dichromate soln and 1/4 teaspn.(1 1/4 ml) of watercolor pigment.

Development-

Place the exposed paper face down in a tray of cold water for
5 min. Then transfer to a tray of 2 oz.(57 ml) of 1 % ammonia and
32 oz.(909 ml) of cool water for 5 min. Keep moving the print back
and forth between the two trays until the highlights of the coating
disolve. Wash in plain water, dry and stand back and admire your
results.
