I want to paint my Chucks, so I bought acrylic textile medium to mix with my acrylic paints.

My question is...can I still prime my Chucks with white? If so (and I'm assuming I'll be using the textile medium with the white paint), do I still mix textile medium into the paint I'll be using over the primed area?

Thanks guys!

I'm trying to figure out what these paintings were called or who painted them. They always seemed to depict a very sad-looking street-urchin or (orphan?) type child, that was usually sitting with a pet cat. Both child and pet had huge, sad eyes. As a little kid in the 60's, these seemed to be in every department store my mother took me to. I've searched the internet and can't find any info. Anyone remember these, or what they were called?

I have tried to take a foto and enlarge with a good camera and lighting however, the quality was fair. Most of the oils are poster size at least. A format camera was suggested, is this my only option? I'm looking for maximum quality.thankyou

I had a set of tins with the face of a beautiful dark-haired baby on my dresser when I was a baby. I have seen that same baby in a painting in the nursery on Father of the Bride 2. I have tried to Google it, but I can't remember the name of the company who made the tins, or the name of the artist or anything. They were just beautiful and I'd love to find them before I have a child!

I saw them in an antique store last year, and should have gotten them then. (Just for the record, I was a baby in the 80s, so I'm not totally sure what the deal is with the picture...I assume the stuff I saw last year was older than mine, but who knows?)

Navajo bride and groom are 2 seperate painting's that my grand mother got out west back in the 40's (so i was told), I think the name on the bottom is DeGrazio not to sure I tried to email the DeGrazio gallery and got no response from them. Can some one give me a good place to check into this. I am willing to sell. Under the picture's were other hand drawings that I do like. I can't tell you what kind of paint or thicker paper it is on , cause i don't know anything about art. Thank you.
