He or She painted many pictures but his/her way of drawing was with little dots, one famous pic. ir one with a pond/lake and it has people picnicing and sitting on grass.

I believe you are referring to "A Sunday Afternoon on the Grand Jatte" by George Seurat. The technique he used is called pointillism. The painting is large, about 6 x 8 ft, I believe. It resides in the Chicago Art Institute. It is shown in the movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off".....It is quite a beautiful painting. Incidentally, Seurat believed there was a very 'scientific' way to apply paint, thus he perfected pointillism....

I believe that painting hangs in Chicago's Museum of Art, that would at least give you a point to start researching...
