It was of a girl bound with white ribbons and I thought it was by John William Waterhouse, but when I looked through his paintings, it wasn't there. It was a few years ago, so I don't know any more details, but I think it was in the Pandora's Box section, so it may have been Hope, but I'm not too sure.

do we use brush to paint on glass? i am going to try my hand in glass painting..i would like to hear from you friends..share your tips and techniques..when i tried to apply the paint without using a brush..that is, directly from the tube to glass, i found that in some places the paint is thick and the other places thin..how to avoid this?

I don't want to buy expensive primers but have tried mixing PVA with very fine sand that i have graded myself but it's not ideal does anyone know of something i could use instead, or does anyone know of a very cheap primer maybe it was designed for another purpose that would do.

What is the best thing to use to sketch onto canvas before painting over it, that doesn't show thru acrylic paints? I have seen people use charcoal, is that best?

He was also educated at various art schools and immediately accepted by the artistic elite, outside of the the Parisian Ecole des Artes. He also made a lot of money during his tenure as an artist and owned several properties including a large ranch and travelled extensively throughout Japan, England, Belgium and France. He also served in the French army and sailed extensively, and enjoyed gardening and horsebackriding.
