I'm in creative industry, animation art and im just started. As you know in this area: fresh, original, and brilliant ideas are very essential. Sometimes i may feel that i lack of creativity and ideas, it depends on my mood anyways. I'd be glad if you want to share with me, how to build creativity, be more inspired. what i know is that i need to be observant, read more, and such. You have anymore tips? thanks

I'm doing an art project. The customer wants earth tones, but not "flat" colors like brown. I get the feeling a dark green wouldn't go over well either since its also a dull color. What Earth tones are there to use that arent "flat"?

I want to know how he made his light scupltures. I am really big into his and other LED based works, and I would like to do some myself. The thing I am having a hard time with is knowing where to start. I don't know where to go to ask questions to learn and find answers. Any ideas?

I really want this print, it was haning in my delivery room at the hospital when I had my son, and I would really like to have it. I know it's a long shot, but maybe someone recognises it and can tell me the name of it, or knows a site where I can look? Thanks!

I am coordinating an elementary talent show. I have alot of great ideas but am I wanting it to be great since this is the first thing I Chairing for the PTA.

My theme, not set in stone, is "Among the Stars" I am going to get white christmas light, which I have and put black butcher paper which the school will provide for the back ground. I am going to make stars and cover them with foil. Hang them from the front of the stage. Go crazy with the stars. I wanted to take digital pics of the kids at the dress rehearsal and put them on stars and hang them all around the cafetorium.

I am talking to pp about the trophies. I wanted to have a star on them. I really like the resin ones.

Now it may sound like I have it all figured out. I just wanted to let you know what I was thinking. I will take any suggestions and still really need help. I am so excited I can barely stand still!!

Thanks! and God bless!!

I already earned a BS in Engineering almost 4 years ago and now realize I would love to work in the graphic design or web design field. I know its mostly about talent and a good portfolio, but I know education is important too. Is it enough to get an Associate's degree from a community college or should I get one from the art institute online or something? I live in St. Louis so I don't know of too many art schoools around me with two year degrees. I prefer to not get a four year degree since I've already been through all that and I have to do this at night so I can work full time. I'll take any suggestions to help me get to where I want to go. Thanks!

I'm a freshman and a fine arts major, it seems like there are so little options for me. I have to pick a specific major at the end of the semester...and I just don't know what to do! Mainly because I don't know what's out there!! As far as the working world, what kinds of jobs can you really get out there, besides being a teacher? I am not a design major that is not my thing.

I have a whole lot ( about 100 or so) various pieces of pine wood that was left over from a project at work. They are smooth soft pine, I was wondering if Ic an use these for block printing? I have heard of this, but I tried to print something and it came out looking rather strange, not smooth. I have only made prints with linoleum from the store , is there any different way to use wood for blocks? DO I need to sand it or something first? They are pretty smooth as it is. I would like to use this as it would be worlds cheaper than buying blocks... can I use my lino cutters on the wood or should I use woodworking tools exclusively? Any advice on making blocks with wood would be appreciated. Know any good sites? Thank you so much!
