combined research and were given a grant to make a new product idea using gum's common use and paper clips common use what is the best and most usefulness effect of combining these two common products in the market? would it be barred from the market?

It would be a paperclip with sticky bubble-gum reinforcement.

I think the end product would be like the sticky poster goob that you use to hang things on walls. This end product would be easily re-used to stick papers together and wouldn't dry out. Can't see why it would be barred from the market.

Something like this already exists - Blue Tac (that's what it's called in Australia anyway)

probably, if it comes in the little wrapper, gum you could clip on to your shirt and save for later..... :)
