My husband bought me a beautiful Louet S10 single-treadle spinning wheel for Valentine's Day, and now that it and I have come to an agreement about this whole spinning process, I'm thinking it needs a name. It has an excellent "personality" though it can be a bit stubborn at times, and certainly knows how to object to unpleasant fibers! I'm inclined to call it a "her," but I'm open to suggestion. Any ideas?

I've recently purchased a Wooden Blank Artist Framed stretched Canvas, plus the material I wanted. I wanted to create Fabric Art Walling hanging piece but not exactly to sure where to begin. I've completly gone BLANK :( I've searched the web all I seem to be gettin is how to paint etc. The part I'm stuck on is not sure how to apply the material onto the canvas, like what sort of glue do I use and should of purchased a canvas without a frame or is better with the frame and later apply the frame?
I was told to apply primer first and use that to stick the fabric onto the canvas.. Not too sure about that. And also Do I need to apply something over the fabric so it would be easier to clean?
What should I be cautious about when doing a piece like this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated !
Details of the canvas+Material cotton
40cm x 40cm
15mm frame thickness
White blank surface
Wood construction frame
Suited for oils and acrylics
Premium cotton duck with acrylic gesso primd

I am in my second year at University (contemporary fine art degree) and currently researching for my essay proposal. I have been researching so much that I've lost the plot. Underneath are a some of the research areas, so if anybody could help with a title and argument for my essay to help me condense my research I can maybe sleep at night ! Has anybody done an essay on similiar subject matter? Or can anybody recommend a free website with example essays and dissertations?

(RESEACH: Current representations of women within media - Artificial standard of beauty imposed - Innate female desire to be the 'ideal beauty' - Images of women that seem to have grown increasingly powerless, passive, sexualised and thinner as they gain greater power in society - Appearance and Power - Appearance discrimination - Feminist theory Re: The Ideal Beauty )

Can anybody help?

The paper size I'm working in is A4. The subject can't be something that doesn't have any meaning.( I mean it can't be something for fun) It can be a postal card, an advertisement, or whatever that can be made in photoshop and has a certain purpose. I'm looking for something comlicated (this means I don't want to simply put 3or 4 pics together). Would you please give more than 1 subject? Thanx

I wish law inforcers would realize the good parts in graffit and not the bad parts no affense on that. But im sorry.Check this out if people see that painting on a canvas is art why cant they put up legal walls for graffiti artists and see that it has nothing to do with gangs and violents it's art.i hate hippocrits.Just because gangs use graffiti to represent their symbols doesnt mean "graffiti artists"do the same,If you guys actually took the time to see what they can do with a can of paint maybe they will realize that graffiti artists are actually artists to.I wish someone could tell the law enforcement that
