there are no two colors..gold is one metal, it has millions of them..it is Gold color one and only.

two colors??? I"d try yellow and purple.
if I were doing a painting, but thats not the question, I'd use yellow, white,some burnt sienna, a little thalo blue, and maybe some other brown, like raw umber, which has a yellowish tinge.

When I paint, I mix yellow, a little red and a little, very little sage.
