I'm going to be an architecture student at Cincinnati, one of the best design colleges in the world.

I'd say urban planning actually gets you more money because they are so in demand right now and its a pretty tough subject. Architects probably make a similar amount. It just depends how good you are at what you do.

Architects make engineer money which is probably the tier bellow the doctors and lawyers. But don't do those careers for the money because you need to be passionate to do them.

Legally, probably architecture. But remember, thars gold in dem dar hills, when it comes to working with city governments. Who knows what the payoff can be when so many institutions, politicians, departments, individuals, and companies have projects riding on your decisions as an urban planner.

It is definitely NOT architecture! That field is being invaded and picked apart by Interior Design and Structural Engineering, to name a few fields. Don't go into Architecture unless you are totally committed, ready to study so many different sub-topics!
