Seeing Jack B Yeats took my breath away, the oil on oil, that created a blur, which became a vision the further I moved away from the painting...as did the taking of the Christ by Carriavagio.
Manet, Le Dejeuner sur l'Herbe was stunning, just because of it's sheer size.

I absolutely love to take pictures and I have a ton of them of me and my boyfriend. I want to put them all into one photo album versus splitting them up into several different ones, but I can't seem to find one big enough. I have around 1000 now; I just filled up a third 300 ct. album. Anyone know where I can get big photo albums? I can't find them in stores anywhere... is there anywhere online I can order one?

The movie was like from the 60s or early 70s and it had a large mural painting of what i am guessing is Mt. Fuji in the foreground and in lieu of a sky, it is the old Japanese flag (rising sun, the one that is red with the red light-rays). I can't remember what movie it was or anything else about it, but does anyone have any clues or places i may look to find a picture of this piece?

during the day, so I can only paint at night. But I love to paint under natural daylight--there is something about its cool transparency and the way it reveals the true color of objects. I tried tungsten bulbs, but they give an opaque, florescent-like look.

Well apparently it's in the rules, but what's the reason why you can't? What would be the outcome if you did?

To many if not most of us, the thing that makes him great is not readily apparent.

No insults, please. I just don't get it, and I'm looking for a fresh insight. I can accept that he's great if every expert declares it is so. But I would like to know why.
