WHEN YOU LOOK AT AN OLD PICTURE DO YOU see a stranger in the background? it makes you wonder how many people have pictures of you, how many moments of other people's lives we've been in. were we part of someone's life when their dream came true? did we keep trying to get in, as if we were somehow destined to be there? or did the shot take us by surprise? just think, you could be a big part of someone else's life and not even know it.

i was just thinking

it was the voice of an elderly friend. there was not mistaking it. she has a very distinctive voice. anyway, it inspired me to write a poem, feeling certain she had just passed on, i wrote it. it took me two weeks to get the courage to call her to learn that she is still alive, but not quite able to talk on the phone. what, in your opinion do you think this was?

Suppose a five year old child with a rare blood-type is dying from leukemia and her only hope of surviving is an immediate marrow transplant from the brother of her deceased biological father (the only known match). If God is perfect, then God can create any possible universe. When he chose to create this universe, God knew (due to his omniscience) that he was creating a world in which I would eat a slice of pizza for lunch today. I had to have pizza for lunch today because this is part of the world God chose to create.
Defend your answer with theological determinism.

In answering this question, I would like to know your opinion on the diachronic personal identity.
You may include Locke and Hume, or any other philosopher you think is essential to understanding personal identity.
My theory is that personal experience, and the memory of these experiences, form our identity.
