Hi, my name's Arcen, I'm 15.5 years old, some of my friends ask me if I masturbate, and then I replied a no to them, and they said they'll teach me, and then again, I said no.

Definitely, I was very curious, so, I asked them some queries.

Arcen: Why do you masturbate?
Kendle: It feels good
Arcen: Do you do it everyday?
Kendle: Hell yea
Arcen: For what purpose?
Kendle: Nuthin at all, it's just it feels good. You should try
to masturbate, it feels really good. Try it.
Arcen: Naahh... I don't like it.
Kendle: Just try it, how do you know if you don't like it, if you don't try it?
Arcen: Did you ever lay your head down inside a hungry crocodile's mouth? Do you like it?
Kendle: No, I don't like it...
Arcen: Well, how do you know if you don't like it if you don't try it?

For the folks that hath masturbated, please share your main reason(s) why you masturbate. Don't joke, don't lie, and don't mock.

Does evolution explain the origin of life or is it just being used to rationalize a belief that life began without God, as our culture moves from freedom of religion to freedom from religion?

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

I recently came upon this quote of Sir Winston Churchill, and I'd like someone to elaborate in detail on what did he mean by uttering this statement. I feel that the message contained in this quote is very deep, and I jujust want to know what it is. Why would Sir Winston denounce socialism? As an idea, it doesn't seem to me bad at all. In the USA, people have got the right to vote, but they are homeless and sleep on the streets, whereas in a Socialist environment they care more about your social and economic rights. But since Sir Winston uttered that quote, I'm sure there is something wrong with that ideology.

What is the one thing that you feel most strongly about? It could be religion, morals, love, family, friendship...whatever. I'm just curious. Best answer goes to someone who really provides a developed answer.

"If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck ......", does it really matter if the duck is real, virtual, imaginary, the opium of the masses, the second cousin of Zeus twice removed, a fairytale character, the reflection of the sun in a cow's eye, the best buddy of some mad crusading saint, the final justification behind an appealing act of terrorism, the racist’s Heavenly Hitler, a psychological crutch, ...? ... It simply IS.

The more you argue that roasted duck skin is full of Saturated FAT and hence bad for your heart, the more people want to taste it. Let ‘em have their duck FAT and eat it too - containing the socio-political damage of The Holy, in a democratic society, can never be achieved through confrontational acts of force/violence.

We always end up at an impasse -- of course, people have a fetish for clear yes/no answers which CLEARLY don't exist for our more complicated questions -- so humanity theorizes and theorizes, and conclude with either "I don't know" or "I know everything." I would say that we know some things, but the worth of what we know is nothing...

I don't know (there I said it) what do you think? Are there any out there that can add some thoughts for a pondering Philosophy college student?

Now that I got your attention...

What Do You Think Of Yourself?

When most people think of themselves they have this negative image of what the should/could have been. Like, I asked a gentlemen what he though of himself and he replied, "I think of myself only as a failure of sorts. I didn't go to college, to be a doctor or a lawyer. I missed the chance with a beautiful woman and married one I got divorced to in 5 years. My children hate me, my money is scarce and I am slowing dieing from torture of lonelyness"
What do you think of yourself and why. Is there something you wish you would have done better, or not at all. Or, like me (through all the mistakes I made), are you satified with your life and the way you've lived it...

ANY INPUT WILL BE WELCOMED
