Mine is that a person has goals and an action is rational if it logically results in acheiving those goals, without leading to a contradiction.

they must because then what are you observing. doesnt this prove were real and its not just an illusion?? whats the point of our minds creating it as an illusion if were going to recognize it as an illusion. would that defeat the purpose of creating it in the first place??

This is purely hypothetical, if you were given a chance to see every single event in the world and judge whether humanity was worth saving would you be able to handle that responsibility.
Now this is not a religious questions in any way, this is merely asking after all that you have seen in the world what would you choose.
Nice answers please.

ive struggled with anxiety issues for a while and i can easily work myself up into a panic attack if i think that nothing is real and i dont exist.

but my question is: we do live in a in a reality where physical things exist independent from our perceptions right??this is all real right? its just how we see? the idea of me or my loved ones and everything ive ever known not existing and never has is a very scary thought and would render life as meaningless.

when people say: "eality is what you perceive it to be"or " you create your universe" that just means that the only thing that what matters is what you think right? or do i take things to literaly and think that this all doesnt exist and you are all figments of my imagination? this feeling makes me feel like im losing it. please tell me what is real!!!

I'm studying Kant's Moral Philosophy. Rather a commentary on it. I'm looking for another opinion on it - in layman terms.

if life is an illusion that means that you were the one to create it which means that you are the one and only god. and if you did create it then you would have created it in a way that would not allow you to see it as an illusion, because if you did recognize it as an illusion than that would defeat the whole purpose of creating it in the first place. this is my opinion what do you think?? am i wrong??

I don't like religion. But I wonder if a society would have been without religion/god. I am a very honest and 'good' being, and yet I don't believe in religion/god. Could most human like me or are they animals who need to be kept on leash ?

this is what i think reality is. please correct me if im wrong.

i think reality is something that exists independently of ideas concerning it.

but the only thing that is realy "real" to each individual is there perceptions on it. am i correct?

its not like we dont exist and everything we know isnt real. and all of our loved ones are just hallucinations right? isnt that just a horrible and scary thought? i mean there actualy is somethin physical right? its just how we see it
