if life is an illusion that means that you were the one to create it which means that you are the one and only god. and if you did create it then you would have created it in a way that would not allow you to see it as an illusion, because if you did recognize it as an illusion than that would defeat the whole purpose of creating it in the first place. this is my opinion what do you think?? am i wrong??

This is going into the terrain of George Berkeley. He was the first to state that life could very well be an illusion. However you can not imagine yourself you need a certain someone to be the author of the fantasy. Therefor that person would indeed be a god to the people that he imagined

I beleive there was a religious group that they (meaning ones self) created their own reality. the problem they came across was that, "If I am the creator of this world why does it suck so bad?"

That does not prove that this theory is untrue. But how would one prove that it is true anyway?
