how capable do you think humans are. it is said, that the mind is capable beond what we use of it, we just need to learn how to access the brains parts. But i think that things shouldn't be measured by potential, because everyone without a mental dissorder has potential, and some people with a mental dissability aren't that disabled in their mind. it is just will, a woman or man with a strong will can have everything they want, they are just held down by their personalities.

Well, at least in my opinion. :(

According to the ten commandments, thou shalt not kill, right?

But I was discussing the bible with a friend since we both read it on occasion, and he points out that Leviticus 20:8-18 has god telling people to kill people for crimes.
Heres a link to the passage, to make it easy for you people http://www.biblelookup.com/cgi-bin/pbible.pl?from=&to=&mode=context&boolop=&unit=chapter&searchtype=fetch&searchstring=%4c%65%76%20%32%30%3a%31%33&version=nas&corpus=&maxhits=

So my problem is, If we shouldnt kill for any reason, why is god telling us to kill for crimes? What if we kill someone because we think they are gay and god said to kill gays, but we later find out they weren't gay. Are we forgiven for the murder? Or are we damned because of moral luck or being mislead and thinking the wrong thoughts? and shouldn't we be forgiving, not murderous?

Every capable person of the entire planet created an astronomical chain by holding one anothers hands, and then simultaniously chanted various phrases, such as: "We are all Humans, We shall be one with all life, We shall be free from all aggression, We will not tolerate irrational, disrespectful, or controlling forces ever again"...?

This question is was contrived from a quote by Leo Tolstoy. The quote goes as follows: "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience."

Do you agree with Tolstoy ? Why ? Why not ?

It would seem in some categories it is quite low, or the intelligence of our society using Yahoo as a median is getting lower by the minute.

The problem is that anyone referencing 2nd Amendment falls into the catagory of gun waco. In reality, most would-be gun-toters are the best citizens, and project a sphere of about 100 yards awareness, to protect everyone around them.

So how do we persuade the average American that bearing arms is a good thing? The "an armed society is a polite society" argument doesn't seem to work well, because half of America has The Fear and are not willing to take responsibility for their lives, let alone the Security of America.

How to sell it?

If you'd killed someone, or some animals, either meditated or accidental, can you describe the experience? You can also imagine the experience of killing, state of mind, etc. I am interested in what would motivate someone to kill, or not to kill.

searching for answers and question, would preatty much satisfy our self. dont you think man already knew but some how was lacking knowledge of himself and the world. but when you die your memory is erased but that soul is still there.its like starting all over again looking for answers that you already knew but once you get to them is a slap in the face.
