personally, i think god is either dying or changing. so many of his own followers don't even follow his laws. some haven't even read the bible.

hey sauwelios, if you're trying to call me mad, abnormal, and the like, then you're just telling me something i already know. also, it is the insane and retarded (no offense to those of you who suffer from retardation) who are closer to god.

I'm taking this from an athiest point of view that is accepting of other religions.
Basically, I think people's perception of god is constantly changing. When we thought the Earth was all there was and beyond the skies were the heavens, we thought God created the Earth especially for us. When we found out there were other planets, we thought God made Earth the center of the universe and everything revolved around us. So is god himself changing? Theres an interesting question. If you believe there is no god and its all in other people's minds, then yes, if your perception of god changes in your mind, then the idea of god is changing, hence, god is changing. However, if you believe in a god, then no, god is not changing, its just we are understanding him more.
God is also dying in a sense. Again, your opinion on this matter depends on if you believe in a god. If you believe god only exists in people's mind, then God is existing less and less and hence, dying since a smaller percent of the population believes in him everyday. If you believe a god exists, you can take two opinions on the matter. The first is that god is very much alive and is not dying whatsoever. The second is that since the concept of god is dying out, the actual god might go along with it.
However, I don't think god will ever truly die until the human race dies. In order for God to be dead, since like I said before I'm an athiest and I believe god is all in the mind, everyone in the world will have to stop believing in him entirerly, which i doubt will ever truly happen.

God changes everyday with every experience. "He"created us in order to experience through us because "he" cannot experience "himself" I think there is no right there is no wrong there is only good and bad and that is between u and him not you and the "church" what happen in life when you keep screwing up and doing the same stupid things? You either change and break the cycle or you keep doing the same stupid things. I believe that's what happens with your life you screw up and fail to learn your lesson you have to come back down and do it all over again until you get it right. I don't read the bible because that is not where all the answers lay. I think it is more simple than that. Listen to your heart follow the ten commandments and learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others. Religion has people corrupted it does not allow an open mind "free flow of personal thought" One thing that is true in the bible is that God gave us FREE WILL. Not free will to do whatever other people tell us to do or think or believe. I have come to all these conclusions because I was brought up without the ties of religion. This may be bad or good but i think it is mostly good.

God isn't changing. People's perceptions of good and evil are changing. Also, Religious doctrine is changing in some religions, mostly to bring more bumsinto the seats, and more money into the church's coffers. Sadly, for some, religion is nothing but business and they will promise people what tever they want to get money out of them.

I believe God provides for change as we progress; but I believe people/society is changing. Christianity has become lax and we don't emphasis the seriousness of God's commandments anymore. As I become older, I've changed, and my core values seem less important now. It does concern me somewhat.
Is it Satan's time on earth to rule for a number of years?

The word "GOD", so many historical interpretations, stories, legends, myths and so on origin from this word; but is it only a single word? I rather reply "No". world of spiritual things, scope of meta-physics, dark side of "mankind's lack of knowledge" during the his boom and busted history, brought to us by this single word. It may be a very complicated strange "idea". Death of God, but of other colour, is a souvenier of "Modern Era(age)" creating new and different "Norms" . Years after the beginig of "Industrial Revoloution" Nitche , great man of philosophy, announces the GOD's Death, but do remember: Free will to think and choose and keep responsibility of our choice. You can chosse a world with a shade of a kind creator and keep your responsibility in regard to your believe. Good Luck!

But more seriously, I think that your question is irresolvable. How can we, with any semblance of rigour, begin to discuss the features of an entity whose mere fact of existence we are as yet unable to objectively determine?
Anyone can make any claim about this issue that they wish, and it would be impossible to prove them wrong.
Unless, of course, you are talking about the physical, practical dimensions of "God," just as Nietzsche was in the first quote above... In that case, I much agree with the philosopher - deities have stopped being the main source of moral authority for humanity's ethics. Rather, we now derive them from a few basic and axiomatic first principles - much as we do in mathematics, for example.

Death doesn't apply to God. For Him time is irrelevant. He has always existed and will do so forever. Thats what Lord Krishna says from the Geeta.

God is a joke.
Anyone who "believes" does so in bad faith.
That's right, BAD faith.
Extending your life into other planes that don't exist.
Witholding all veracity from this world.
Living for God. When will you EVER live for yourself and us.

I think that to answer this question, we'd have to define god and to do that would be to pigeon-hold a being, force, or even a process that none of us has ever fully known.
