I am doing a burlesque show with the theme "Midnight in the GArden of Good and Evil" it's a birthday party. I need songs to sing and dance to that sort of fit that theme. OLd songs new songs, they need to be sexy and fun...good and evil Thanks. THe more the merrier.

i've got a brand new guitar (ibanez GIO series) and it buzzes a little when in clean or distort, is this natural? everythings brand new. the amp is a 15watt laney hardcore, the buzzing stops when the tone on the guitar is put up full, what could cause this? everytings new. is it true that 100watts stop buzzing, help me!!

What keeps you living,

True Friends
Life just never settles here in my world,

Rarely the same routine

so much drama that I could forget my own
name if I tried hard enough,

life is always ruff,

you get bumped and scraped but you cant
give up,

or you might not be able to get back up,

putting smiles on peoples faces,

not putting out disgraces to others,

hiding your inner anger to try to make yourself look tough,

people talk behind your back to make themselves look good,

but actually it makes them look weak not unique,

true friends never leave they'll always have your back,

they wont give you any smack,

they wont put you down they'll let you scream out loud,

they will make you laugh when you want to cry,

and have trouble saying good bye,

true friends are friends till the end
Nightmare on life street

I’m running around in circles,

Trying to escape from this nightmare,

It really isn’t fare,

Do they really care?

Sunshine in my eyes,

Shadows on my face,

How much of me is a disgrace?

Seems like I’m running a never ending race,

Do people talk because it makes them feel good?

Or are they just so confused they don’t know what to do,

So they taunt and they flaunt,

To make them think that their life is fulfilled,

Then eventually someone will get killed,

No they didn’t mean to do it,

Of course not,

They should of thought of that before they smoked pot,

Life never settles down,

You still have no need to frown

So turn that frown upside down.










UNWANTED
Some people never show their true selves,

They are afraid that that part of them will not be liked,

So they act like someone they’re not

They cant stand holding things inside,

Like they’re sad or mad,

Or they just need a hug,

But they feel like a bug

Really small unwanted,

For the fear of being taunted,

They should just be themselves,

And not be with the wrong crowd,

Cause all things just have a way of working out.


















Pretenders

People care
And people stare
And act like they care
We just don’t want that horrible glare
For fear that we might look in the mirror
And see the reflection that we’ve feared
So we act and react
Upon who we don’t really want to be
But its what they say is cool
But they’re all fools
But so are we for following their rules
Just be like yourself and make your own
Don’t listen to their unknown myths


Hidden Treasures
They know something they cant teach
We just have to learn
Like a newborn fern
The secrets to life
We all hold inside
With a since of unknown pride
Not knowing we teach all the time
And learn from our mistakes
It makes us a better person
The lifelong lessons that we’ve learned
When we are old the lessons we’ve learned
We will always treasure and hold
