A sudden blizzard confines everyone indoors. There is a rumor that one of the women spent time in a psychiatric facility but no one knows which one of them it was or what she was in for. Several of them are widows whose husbands died under mysterious circumstances. What happens next?

I'm just making up a scenario. You can say they all have a great time if you want to. I didn't preclude the possibility.

Ah ha, . Of course it's logical that the one who spent time in the psych ward should be the sane one of the bunch just to throw your readers off a bit. We'll say she was in there for depression but don't give that info away till the end, lol.You have to have one thats a raging alcoholic who gets into a bourbon bottle in the liquor cabinet and gets sloshed. She starts talking about her late husbands affair and how she got back at his mistress. Everyone is of course shocked by the details. Meanwhile one of the women has a serious health condition and has a heart attack early the next morning. She falls and hits her head. There's blood all over her face and the other women freak out and suspect the alcoholic of having something to do with it because the alcholic and the woman who had a heart attack had a long ( but unresolved) history of competing with each other for men back in school and later in life for husbands. The woman who had the heart attack also had a brief affair with the alcoholics husband. {Does that help get your appetite for fiction stimulated a little now, lol?}

The six ladies start talking anout the old times, and how much fun they had together the last time they were there - 28 years ago. When Buck, the Park Ranger suddenly arrived to check on the girls ...

I have no idea what you are insinuating. Men get together all the time to fish, hunt or simply get together for a weekend of drinking. Why is this not possible for women? I am not sure if you have a problem with that possibility. Good for them as far as I am concerned.
