Could be many reasons.
Volume up too loud on the amp and low on the guitar.
An inferior quality guitar lead. Faulty guitar lead.
Could be an earthing problem.
Also, just because it's new it doesn't mean your equipment is OK. The guitar shop should help.
Don't try to do any 'Maintenance' on electrical equipment yourself. Leave it to a qualified technician.

Check all of your grounds are intact on every lead and also on any patch cords between your FX pedals if you have them - including the one in the mains plug - they not only help prevent the hum but, especially the mains one - stops your guitar from becoming live across the mains - and ending your guitar playing career abruptly!

What you need is a grounding plug, there is a bad ground wire somewhere in your electrical system that you have it plugged into. A grounding plug is a samll grey 3 prong plug that goes into your electrcal socket and causes your amp to be grounded, this should stop the buzzing.

It sounds like a fault in the cable, plugs or sockets.

Buzzing is usially a sign of grounding
