IF NOT

Will it fail, how would germany get worse, and why will it lead to the same German defeat?

Well today I was watching a program on the history channel and it was very intruiging. Usually I have a really short attention span and don't watch more than five minutes of a show, but I watched this for the whole hour. And i'm just wondering what other peoples opinions are on the doomsday apparently going to happen december 21 2012, and if this could actually occur? Because they really had a lot of information to back up what they were saying.

would they have nuclear weapons
would they have a great economy
and would they become a technologically advanced nation

because what i have heard that germany were so many months away from the nuclear bomb, half of the foundations of the american economy was from borrowing money out in the war and the foundations of their technology of today was from the war

I'm interested in seeing how the history of WWII is taught to kids in Japan. Are they honest or do they sugarcoat and rationalize things? I just worry that as time passes a lot rewriting will occur This is really two questions as I wonder the same thing about Germany.

Greece the land of reason and logic did not find interest in defending life of millions of civilians, persecuted by a despot regime.
They only see a fellow orthodox nation in struggle with Muslim.

My grandfather was a gunner on a B29 named Bell Ringer or Belle Ringer in WWII. My family is interested in finding out more information on the plane, specifically pictures of any nose art, or on any of the men that fought with my grandfather. What I do know is that the plane as "lost" on July 5th 1945 with "War Weary" listed as the reason. Also, I have found that on January 11th of 1945 the Bell Ringer flew Mission 27 over Penang, Malaya. Any other information that you have would be greatly appreciated!

Following my information the last cavalry charge was done by the Belgians on 19 october 1918 at Burkel in Flanders (http://www.1914-1918.be/insolite_derniere_charge.php). Have there been later on cavalry charges in WW1 ?
When was the very last cavalry charge noted in history ? (some would say the Polish charge of the cavalry in 1939, but I think the latest was somewhere in Russia)
