In the short-term I agree with the answer of Princess Diana. However, in a hundred years she is unlikely to be in the history books.

In the long term...
Richard the Lionhearted - Let's see...his Crusade failed, he bankrupted his country, he got himself captured, he paid no attention to his responsibilities as king to England (he was only there 6 months out of a 10 year reign), and he rebelled against his father (and failed). Why are people impressed by him?

Runner up...
Queen Victoria - Lots of things happened during her reign, but she wasn't responsible for most of it! Essentially she's famous for living a long time and not being amused.

right here is how which will paintings. you will supply your automobile to the economic enterprise (that's no diverse than a repo), and that they are going to public sale it for a fragment of its somewhat worth. Then they are going to acquire a judgment against you for the adaptation interior the standard public sale sell value and the quantity you owed! do no longer do it. good credit is extra significant now than ever before and a repo will hang-out you for years. proceed to objective to sell it on your guy or woman. you will take a loss, despite if it is not something while in comparison with the quantity you will unfastened from a repo. or you will discover in case you will locate somebody to take over the money. in case you circulate a good purchase on the motor vehicle, somebody may be keen to take over you cash. maximum financing businesses enable this as long because of the fact the assumer has first rate credit. There are web content that facilitate this.

John Kennedy - As a President, he was mediocre at best. The only reason people still hold a fondness for him was his good looks, his idealism and the fact that he died so young. If one looks at his policies, he wasn't that great. He was great during the Cuban Missile Crisis, but he failed on Civil Rights. He played too much politics with Civil Rights. If he had not been pushed by events, Civil Rights might not have come as soon as they did. He failed during the Bay of Pigs. If he had not messed with the plans that the Eisenhower Administration had worked up, then it might have worked. In my opinion, he just couldn't make good decisions as often as he could/should have.

FDR. His soultions were amazing in the short term, but have done more harm in the long term.

As for so many saying Columbus, I think he may just be the most under-rated! Everyone says 'He was a greedy gold seeker'. 'He killed native americans' but if historians would stop getting their facts from other historians, and actually read copies of Columbus' personnal journals, they would see that is wrong.

On second thought, historians are the most over-rated people in history.

King Arthur

Best evidence is the he was an mixture of a bunch of kings and warriors. And if the actual man lived and accomplished what they say, his contribution is still negligible to world history or even English history for that matter.

Louis XIV was a spoiled rich kid who didn't actually do much for humanity. In the last 100 years I'd have to say Kurt Cobain. Come on, so he had some heroin-induced ramblings set to music... big deal.
