It is the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Built by King Nebuchadnezzar II for his wife. Could have been built 2600 years ago in the city of Babylon. I hope this helps.

You must mean "The Hanging Garden". It's in Iraq and was built by King Nebuchadnezzar for his wife Amyitis, who was 'homesick', and missing the 'lush landscape' she was used to. (Babylon, Iraq is very 'dry'.)
I'm not sure what you're talking about so far as it being "ravished/destroyed, currently"....there is a lot of "debate" as to whether or not it actually even ever existed!
I'm sure you could find a LOT if information online just by 'putting in' "Hanging Garden"; or search for "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" -as it IS one! It's REALLY interesting/cool!(In my opinion.) -You should check them ALL out!

i think i understand what you ask but then i'm not THAT sure. the hanging gardens of babylon was constructed for the king Nebuchadnezzar's wife (who came from a tropical place, maybe africa). it is considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. now you mentioned 'currently' which implies recently. please chose your words more carefully. one slip of that brain (of yours) can alter a question. d'oh! the gardens of wonder have been absent from the planet somewhere in time, like over 2000 years! i dunno about you but in the scale of me, that's not 'recent'.
