It doesn't have to be the best or the worst one. Caligula interest me cause he was wacky crazy. I like studying about the insanity of him and the crazy things he did. I would say Nero is my second pick for most interesting Ceasar.

I need help in understanding exactly HOW the two systems are related. I mean, i now what feudalism and manorialism are in theory, but how are they linked? did they exist side-by-side, or did one form a basis for the other, or are they same / different in some ways?

Logistics, excellent diplomats and politicians? Britain had a comparatively small population and small country compared to the near entire landmasses they conquered.

What helped Britain build up steam to become an Empire? Technology, who and what? Where did they start getting resources from?

How did they do it, how did it start, and what made them an Empire?

I am skeptical. I think they died off due to a combination of factors: disease, genocide and their women intermarrying other races. They have done some genetic studies in some Latin American countries. In some countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico...most of the male genes derived from Europe while the maternal/female genes originated with local Native Americans. Certainly, a lot of Native American women did not die off from disease if they were able to reproduce mixed children with the European conquerors. When a certain culture or society is conquered and deprived of social status, the women often joins the victor (forced or not). We see this in our own society too. So many Asian/Oriental women exclusively dating/mating with white Anglo men is a good example. Since many Native Americans have feint racial and facial similarities with Asian people, I wouldn't be surprised if the dying out of Native Americans had much to do with their women selling out

America was named after Amerigo
Columbus credited as the first European to discover the Americas.
Leif Ericson visited North America about 500 years before Columbus and the first Europen to land.
Christopher Columbus is given credit for discovering the New World, but was he really the first person to step foot in this new land. What about the Native Americas? What about Leif Ericson? Or what about Amerigo Vespucci?

I was thinking about how much losses Germany undertook after its fail attempt on Britain bombing and brought about the weakening of Luftwaffe which was so much needed in easter front.

Could Germany do anything better by adhering to a diplomatic dealing with Britain instead to buy time?

Which would you classify as the worst dictator based on their ideologies, the economy of the country during their reign and the way they treated their people. Oh, and by worst I don't mean that they were dumb and didn't know how to run a country, I mean like brutal and had evil plans etc.

I have a document which is a transcript of Franz Ziereis' (commandant of Camp Mauthausen) "deathbed confessions" It is seven large handwritten pages, front and back, dated 12 August 1945. I searched online and found a similar document, but it is only one page and is worded differently. How do I find out if some of the information in this document should be displayed or studied at all? Who would I have look at it? Could I scan it into the computer and send it to a historian to look at? Who would I send it to? Thanks!
