If Hitler had postpone battle of Britain after dealing with Russia will the situation be much better?

I was thinking about how much losses Germany undertook after its fail attempt on Britain bombing and brought about the weakening of Luftwaffe which was so much needed in easter front.

Could Germany do anything better by adhering to a diplomatic dealing with Britain instead to buy time?

The Battle of Britain was in the summer of 1940 . The invasion of the Soviet Union was in the summer of 1941 so Germany had plenty of time to strengthen the Luftwaffe.
There was an attempt by Germany to persuade Britain to sign a peace treaty in the Spring of 1941 so that they would only have to fight on one front.
This occurred when the Deputy Fuhrer , Rudolf Hess, made o solo flight to Britain in secrecy to contact known Nazi sympathisers in the British aristocracy , royal family and the Conservative Party.
He was supposed to land on the Scottish estate of the Duke of Hamilton but he got lost and had to parachute from his airplane. This led to his arrest by a policeman and the plot did not proceed any further. He spent the rest of his life in jail or at least that was the presumption although some people think that that was an impostor and something else happened to him.

idk it didn't happen so who knows but if they tried and succeeded then it might have ended up much differently...least the war would have taken longer to end. although with the invention of the A bomb....they didn't have much chance anyway. could have turned out much worse for Germany and Europe in general if Hitler tried that.
