I seem to of lost my country or is it my country threw me away?
What did I do to offend it?
I believed all the lies told me in its defense, never questioned, shed and took blood in its lies.
My brothers names are on walls some latinos o out of poverty and ignorance are now gone.
My uncles and grandparents back to 1670 died for freedom in first founding and then defending my country.
They lived within that freedom, worked through hard and good times making nation strong and when called shed or gave blood defending it. Stars upon my grandmothers walls and pictures to go with them taught me the value and cost of freedom, but they too are now gone.
Nathan Hale,"give me liberty or give me death", John Paul Jones, "We have yet begun to fight', one if by land and two if by sea, four score and.... I Pledge Allegance, He ain't heavy he's my brother of Boys Town fame and father Flarrety where ae they?
Maybe they went with my country I hear them yet, "The Junk Man Cometh!

On behalf of my 84 year old father in law, I would like to know if anyone remembers 'lights out' being played? It was Moonlight Serenade by Glen Miller at Maison Blanche (White House) in Algiers from 1943 - 1945. Anyone out there remember this? Please get in touch - thanks.

I think the most important thing he did was try to heal the nation after Watergate. He always tried to do what was right, not what was popular. His signing of the Helsinki Accords helped reduce East/West tension. He was clumsy, but was one of the best athletes to ever occupy the White House (according to ESPN).
