i found a coin that is silver and about the size of a quarter, on the front there is a man that looks like a korean general. on the back there is a temple with 2 dogs leaning on it and they look like there are howling, the temple has towers and the letters that are on the coin look hebrew what is this coin and what is it worth???

Sounds like a Thailand coin the dogs are actually elephants.

it's most likely japanese or chinese or some other asian country. the library has book on world coins
