My history teacher did post the question, as a clueless but not lazy student, i am suppose to find the answer before she skins me... The question refers to that in Battle of Britain, Hitler dropped it in faovur of Barbarossa. But why the sudden descision, Hitler was famous for being a careful planner, the move is unlike his style. So what was the motivation? i did search the internet but the answer is like a drop in the ocean...

I am not talking about great race horses, but rather horses such as Bucefalo/Bucephalus who belonged to Alexander the Great, or Rocinante who belonged to Don Quixote. Horses of historical or literary renown.

Does anyone know from a historical point of view why someone would built a church on top the spot where Jesus Christ was crucified in Jerusalem? Why not leave it alone so that all future generations could know he was real?

We are a violent race. Will we always be this way? Or will we quickly be turned into yuppies who don't know how to fire a weapon? Can peace ever really be possible?

I've heard several people tell me its because they are injured, but I think its to keep their eyes accustomed to the dark, so that when they go below deck(remember no electric lights) they can see again.

i heard that in the psuedoscience of phrenology, where they read the pattern of bumps on your head to tell what kind of person u were, if you had no bumps on ur head at the time of the reading, they would oblige you by hitting you on the head and making some. is this true?

People said that he was a better war-time leader than a peace-time leader and so after WWII he lost re-election to Atlee.

I wanted to know what were the main reasons why he lost that election. Also once he finally did get re-elected again, did he prove to be an effective leader during his second term?

Hope my question makes sense but if anyone could explain in their own words, that'd be a big help.

I understand where things are organically in time, such as romanticism reacting to Enlightenment ideals, but I have a hard time placing a range of dates on such things. I can generally say that Darwin, for example, was present in the 1800's and Freud, Marx, etc. were in the mix somewhere as well, but I have a hard time fixing an exact date to their contributions. How do you do so? Charts? Brute memorization? Etc.?
