I have really big feet, like size 10, they're really wide too. it bothers me a lot and its especially hard because I'm a ballerina, on point they don't look very good, any advice?

I have a little problem. I'm a bellydancer and every time I perform I get at least a few women who think I'm a hoochie and at least a few men who think I'm dancing for male sexual attention. They don't approach me and actually SAY those words, but it's obvious as to what they're thinking. My husband almost got in a fight once with a guy because the guy was talking to me like I was a common whore. Some women tell me I have low self-esteem because they say I'm not respecting my body.

What is a nice polite way to tell them they're wrong about bellydancing and that in reality it's a female-empowering spiritual art form?

Hi. I did dance when I was younger and up until 3 years ago. I did ballet, tap, jazz, and some hiphop and acro. I really wanted to do dance this year, but missed the sign up. Anyway, I am for sure doing next year, but want to brush up on some basics and start getting back into shape, so I won't look like completely lost when I go. Any suggestions?

I took my first ballet class recently and absolutely love it!! I've had previous dance experience, and I'm on the dance team at my school, so that helps with some of the technique and stuff, but are there any basic things I should know or be aware of as a beginning ballet student? I visited my friend's questions and she asked what the most romantic dance was. My answer would have been the rumba because I dance that. I read that some people thought that the tango was overrated or sluteeeeeeeeeee. I don't feel that way. I think it's passionate and extreme. It's a dance with great rythm.
