it is also a great idea to take a beginners class somewhere
even though you will probably start out with younger kids
since you are 13 you will learn really fast and move to the next level really fast
i had a friend that started around your age(in the beginners class)
and in less than a year she was in the advanced class
as long as you practice you can do it
it really is tons of fun

I began dancing at age four at a individual studio that's now not in trade. What I did was once take a few special categories in quite a lot of dances and observed those I favored and narrowed it down to these. Once I did that, I was once instructed via my dance instructor that I was once a typical dancer and that I will have to research Choreography. I didn't pass to any fancy dance institution to grow to be legit. Training is not the identical for all people. There are men and women who're typical dancers wherein the whole thing comes relaxed or you're a expert dancer who experiences for years on the topnotch faculties. There are might profession possibilities whilst you're more youthful. Dancers have a "top" at which period they're viewed too historic however can coach or choreography handiest. You can dance on level, grow to be a prima ballerina, country wide and global acting excursions,on broadway-off broadway, las vegas indicates, coach and choreography. You too can grow to be a heritage dancer in movies, advertisements and films. Studios additionally seem for dancers. Hip Hop is such a lot a laugh, and may also be without problems taught. Its fundamental steps plus a complete lotta perspective. It can get complex (honestly seem) if you happen to wish so as to add a degree to it.

Don't let anything stop you! I always wanted to become a dancer, just like you- and I was always afraid to start because I thought I was too old. Then, I finally started when I was 17, and now I'm a professional ballroom dance teacher! :) (I'm 25 now). Go for it!

Don't be worried when you're going to classes, just go to a beginner's class, you'll probably find everybody their worse than you at least you've been exposed a lot to dancing. Just relax and go to classes, I tried learning from videos and stuff online but it never worked but I got much better when I went to classes.

I would love to see someone dance like a ballot, that would be hilarious. There are actually many of those dvds at stores like sam goody, and of course, on ebay.

You should just start classes..there is so much more to dance than just the dance itself. You need to learn how to warm-up correctly and proper posture etc... If you don't learn the basic skills correctly you could injure yourself seriously.
