Papa?

Yes, son?

Is this the train ride you promised?

Yes. Yes, it is.

I thought there were seats.

Well, all of the seats are filled.

Is that why everyone here is standing?

Yes.

I heard some people saying “Oświęcim”.

I heard them too, son.

Is that where we’re going?

No. Oświęcim no longer exists.

What do you mean?

They renamed it, remember? The soldiers.

But it’s still there, isn’t it?

It’s all in the name.

The name?

Oświęcim is beautiful, and you think of that when you hear it.

And now we don’t?

Now we don’t. After all . . .

Papa?

Auschwitz doesn’t sound half so beautiful.

When reeding a Highlight book I red a stor-E about a blind persun and his c-ing-i-dog named Relish ( yum yum!) and I laughed at him becuz he looked like my aunt sue. Also he sat at a void tayble at a restaraunt, with Relish, staring out in space with nothing on the table but ketchup right in front of him. SO AM I GOING TO HELL OR IS IT JUST SUPPOSE TO BE FUNNY, LIKE BOB SAGET.
