I studied this book for my literature degree and whilst I'd read it before, I didn't real consider it a great book. After I had studied it and delved into the themes, the charaters and read critical essays, it altered my perception of what Stoker had written. Everything from the portrayals of Mina, intelligent but fulfills a "traditional" role for a woman in the end and Mina, an attractive woman who is then turned by Dracula, to the multiple voices of Harker, Mina and Van Helsing.

I'm reading it right now, and I was wondering what your opinion of it was. Most of my English class hates it, but I like it...what do you think?

Ok I am writing a novel, it's about this girl named Ashley who died and now must chose which side she wants to be on, the demons of Hell or angels or Heaven, the reason why she gets to pick these sides is becasue she was a good/bad girl. So she choses the demons but then her sister is in Hell and told her she is a fool to pick this side, so she leaves the demons and becomes the leader of a neutral group then she finds out that a angel is in her body, (the angel is Alexiel) after she finds out that she has to lead an army to protect the Earth from the Final Battle (Judgement Day or when the angels and demons fight on the Earth for the last time). She then goes to the hospital becasue of a life threating disease and Alexiel has to get out of Ashley's body and she does, but Ashley runs away and is not for sure who she is and is slowing dieing. Can you please give me a idea? Thanks.

I am thinking about making a book about this wolf demon( think Inuyasha) who must save the world from a great evil. The problem is she doesn't want to do and if she does she will die. There is also a group of people known as the Renegades, they help keep the world in balance and make sure that no power is greater than the other. they mainly protect the Earth, Sky, and Sea. When the great evil appears in the world, the world turns into a place like Lord of the Rings. The demon, also, lost her family and many friends. The only family she has left is her older brother. That is the main story line. I have yet to come up with a name, so if you want to you can make some suggestions.

Would you ever want it to be something people would want to read over and over again or just something to make some cash no matter if the book only sold one copy.

It was dark, saint, and I was so cold.
You were five minutes, ten minutes late,
I buried my hands in every warm fold,
And wriggled, and shivered to wait.

The streetlamp orange flickered dim,
My breath drew out smoky in air,
And all I could think of was you and him,
And the cold, and the way you don’t care.

Twenty went past and I knew that
my fingers and thoughts had gone numb,
But still, I waited, freezing, and sat,
It was forever and you didn’t come.
