I've found somewhat of a reflection of myself in both Hesse's Steppenwolf and Camus' The Stranger. What other books, following these examples, might fit with my reality?

Write down any that you know of, who said it, and the best, in my opinion, can get the ten points.
NOTE:The "Golden Rule" doesn't count. It must have been said by a historical figure, which does include ancestors. Just make sure is inspirational.

Tomorrow I have to dress like a children's book character. I have NO CLUE and I'm in DESPERATE need of some help! I have no time to buy a costume. Anyone have a good, creative idea? I'm willing to make something, as long as it's easy!

Recently, I filed a case with the Child Protection Services of Oklahoma County against my husband. I felt he was harming my child because after he took her away from her home he also would not allow her to go to school. I have called the last four days to inform the Child Protection Services workers about any new info I could give them. I just found out this evening that they not only had informed him that I had been calling them the last four days but they also had no intention in helping me. How well does the Privacy Law work if personal info that was meant only for the State Department is being given freely to the person I filed a claim against? Legal aid is so busy that even their answering machine states that unless you are 60 years and over or if you are calling on behalf of a person 60 years of age and over you won't be first in line

I was hanging around the library earlier today and when I was looking around a friend and I were looking around, we spotted this book, it was about Euclid Beach and a killer ride or something, this is Cleveland's Euclid Beach in Ohio. Does anyone know what this ride was? I will the book, I think(for fun by the way), but I'm just curious as to what the ride is.

Okay, I am in AP English and we recently read the book 1984 by George Orwell. For an assignment, we had to relate the following Shakespeare quote to the book:

This story shall the good man teach his son / And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by / From this day to the ending of the world / But we in it shall be remembered / We few, we happy few, we band of brothers / For he today that sheds his blood with me / shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile / This day shall be his gentle condition.

I am not good with Shakespeare, so it might as well be written in Greek. Can anyone relate this quote to the book?

Me and my friend are going to do a debate and we would like to broaden our research and ask Yahoo. Thank you to those who answer truthfully. We also are looking for more facts and pros to banning books. Your opinions are your own and if you think books should be banned then say why, If you think they shouldnt then say how come. Thanks again!

I've never intentionally destroyed a book because it would feel wrong. Is this just a weird psychological hang up or do other people feel like this?
