I read this book as a sophomore in high school and I don't remember the 5th lesson! I remember the first four - with the Blue Man, the Captain, Marguerite, and Ruby. I know the fifth person was Tala, a little girl. But the lesson escapes me. For example, Ruby teaches Eddie he needs to learn to forgive. What was that fifth lesson? Thanks so much! :)

Its name is W.H.W. Jr and starts as follows:

"Speak to me, friend! Or is the world so wide
That souls may easily forget their speech,
And the strong love that binds us each to each ..."

I've already checked on the web with no positive results.

Thanks in advance!

I am having trouble getting started and need some help. I dont know what to write. Each time I start... I draw blanks.

What books would you suggest to a Jane Austen fan?

P.S. Already read all the Brontes, Vanity Fair, and Tess of the d’Urbervilles (which seem to be recommended often when concerning Jane Austen) so don’t bother suggesting those.

I'm currently working on a young adult novel, and I've started thinking about titles. It is somewhere between fantasy, adventure, suspense and romance. Keep in mind that it is meant for young adults. Which of these books would you be most likely to buy or just browse?

1. Nightfall
2. After Nightfall
3. Night Fallen
4. Fallen Night
5. Shattered Fate
6. Twisted Fate
7. Twist Of Fate
8. Shattered
9. Shattered Night
10. Forever Night

Please, don't tell me one of these titles is already in use. I know that! But so many books out there have the same title, so let it go. Also, any further suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Once Upon A Midnight

Once upon a midnight,
The phone rings, breaking the silence.
It is you,
To see what’s up.

And on this same midnight,
I smile sleepily.
Talking in a quiet voice,
Hiding under the covers.

Once upon a midnight,
I had a dream….
That we were all together again, happy,
And all in good health, as I didn’t know.

And on this same midnight,
I awoke with tears in my eyes, for it was a dream.
And I flipped through yearbooks,
Wishing with my heart and soul it was true.

Once upon a midnight,
I awoke far too early.
Because the next day you could be gone,
And I called you and e-mailed you until I fell asleep.

On this same midnight,
I used far too many tears up.
And was determined to see you more,
Before the time came for you to leave, who knew when!

Once upon a midnight,
I couldn’t sleep.
So I crawled out of bed and watched the night,
Knowing tomorrow it would all be different.

On this same midnight,
I saw you on the lane.
And flew into your arms,
Most likely for the last time.

Now, on this midnight,
You are gone and I am here.
And I can’t sleep,
So I am writing this poem about so many different midnights.

are you reading it
or...
are you finished reading it?
Was it boring to you?
Was it a great book to you?
