Did it have you in stitches?

Amazing how little people have changed in the past 100 years.
My gf and I were reading one evening recently and she finally took the book from me to see what was so damn funny, after a few moments she was howling too. I read it years ago, but I’ve traveled since then, and appreciated it even more this time around.

I'm always stumped on what to write about (and I love to write). Does anyone know a website or two that offers free writing prompts and sends them via e-mail daily, like a newsletter? I've looked, and I can't find any services that are free.

It's called Goddess of the sea. I can't remember the name of the author. It was Cast. Like P.C. Cast or something like that. I thought it was really good. I loved it!

MIRROR IMAGE

I don’t want to be like him
I’m scared I will
I’m scared of what I will do if I do the same as him
Am I going to be the same?
Like looking into a mirror
A reflection of evil
Or will the reflection be good
I can’t be like him
It’s not fair
I hate what he is
What he has done
Am I going to be the same?
He raises his hand
Does the reflection do the same?
Or is the reflection going to be different
I hope
I pray
That it’s going to be different

I've probably done myself a huge disservice by not reading those books (oddly enough, I've read Dan Brown's other two books).

At any rate, I now have in my possession both The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons.

In your opinion, in which order should I read the two? Is one technically a prequel of another, or are they different enough that it doesn't matter?

Thanks.

I have heard rumors of Fairie Tale being turned into a movie but what about his other books. Fairie Tale is by far one of the worst ideas for a movie in my opinion

I wanted to use the character's title as a reference but totally forgot. It's a pretty popular book and I believe it was written by an American. I believe the character also had an extremely long bear too (but I could be making that up)

I just finished The Things Between Us by Lee Montgomery and was moved by her powerful memoir about her dying father, alcoholic mother and distant siblings. If you've read it, I'd be very interested in your feedback. Did you feel the book was absent or full of self-pity?

There is an ongoing debate on whether e-books will ever replace traditional book format. But what do you think? If a book you wanted was only available as an e-book would you buy it?

I am looking for someone who will aid me in purchasing some Star Wars novels, specifically those of the NEW JEDI ORDER. My problem is not the money per se, but the mode of purchase. I live in Ghana, have no access to a credit card. However, I can easily change our local currency and buy dollars. How to get the money over to you in the US would be my problem. Currently, I don;t have any relatives who could help me out with that. I would like to know whether someone has a relative or friend working with USIS or USAID or UN or some organisation working in Ghana so that I can pay the person here (in foreign currency) so that he/she could transfer the money per credit card/ bank draft etc. I cannot use the bank draft because our local banks take far too much as commission. For example, assuming a cost of $10 on something, the bank collects $30. I hope you understand my problem. Please mail me or IM me on kosikumah@yahoo.com

Hey there
Do you even notice that it’s all wrong?
That we’re all wrong?
That I am just a girl you bring along.
But I know you are searching for something more.
And I can’t stand in your way
Anymore.
I don’t know where things fell apart
But they did
And we grew apart.
So here I say
Goodbye.
It’s time,
It’s time,
Goodbye.
Just don’t stick around and ask me why
Just move on
Leave me now
When you see me in a crowd, just pass me by.
Because I know deep down that
We’re not right.
It’s not right.
So take this song
And move along.
And as I cry
It’s okay.
I’m okay.
It’s time,
It’s time,
…goodbye.
