My friends husband tragically died from cancer a few days ago, he was only 40 and left two young children behind, I want something touching but not trite, spiritual but not overtly religious to write in a card for them, any ideas?

Why does the Catholic Bible contain 73 books while the Protestant Bible has only 66? With both claiming to have the complete Word of God, which one should be believed and why?

Hark! I thought I heard a possum fart.
There she lies with soap in her hole.
I think I'll kiss her snatch and steal away in the night.

I was wondering... what is your NUMBER ONE relationship pairing? It doesn't have to be written into the books (like James/Lily), it can be anything you want (like Sirius/Remus).

Please list only your Number One pairing... not two, not three.

Mine is Harry/Hermione. I know it's not canon (in the books), and never will be, but I love it - always have and always will. (I accept other ships, though).

PS. NO BASHING OTHER SHIPS, please. I'll have to report abuse if you do. Be nice.

I'm reading it again for the first time since seventh grade. It's an all-time favorite! I love the book, and I love the play and film version as well. Do you know which book it is?

I'm looking for a book discussion group, or maybe ideas on how to start my own for the summer. My son & I are involved in a summer reading program at our local library and I think this would be an excellent way to find new and interesting books to read.

This is a poem by Robert Frost:

"TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
-------------------------------
Have you taken the road less traveled by in your life? Has it made all the difference?
