Ripples in the Water

I alone become finished,
if my water fountain isn't replenished.
Scattered images in my mind scare me,
as shadows over the sun make me blind.
Mixed are we, which one is he?
What gravity does his weight take to get him through?
Mixed up, he betrays what joys I wish for.
Fish out of water is he, searching for water so fresh,
as he tries to escape this woven mesh.
He feels out his form, mixed up.
I received him in my hand, dying.
As he gasped for air, I breathed into him;
his lungs filled with fluid so what could I do?
I was hoping he wasn't lying, as I held on,
waiting for hope to come along, and he had done
wrong by the break of day. I held on but he went on,
to new visions in the ripples of water

A history teacher I had once in college made this statement once as a "talking point". This statement can be valid in the fact that the devastation caused in Germany and other Germanic nations after WWI was a reason that Hitler rose to power in the manner he did. Also, it seems invalid due to the fact that many nation-states involved in WWII were not involved (at least in the same way) in WWI. I am not a history buff, so I hope that someone will have better insight in this matter.

K indeed indicates 1000, but in distance, weight, capacity, etc. M also indicates 1000, in Roman Numerals for times, years, etc. So, why was Y2K used instead of Y2M??

I think they might be the same thing but I'm kind of confused as to what exactally the difference is between "stage left" or "stage right" and just normal left and right. Other than one is on a stage and one isn't. Can someone help?

Hershey site says Kisses production was halted from 1942 to 1949 because of the war. But the war ended in 1945. Why would it cause another 4 year halt? And folks who were kids during the 40s remember eating Kisses during some of that period. What's the real time period? 1949 seems unbelievable.
