I appreciate beautiful things yet i do not trow money at them.
There is so much in this world that's priceless, but there's also a lot that's is buyable. For example, in restaurants in the US (and in many other places) people pay a waiter according to his friendliness. A foreign (Belgian) guy like me perceives this as perversion, but this aside. I could give a lot more of those intercultural differences. Yet, in short, it shows that the value of money is relative: some things (as well as attitudes/roles in services) can be bought, others cannot.
But it remains a pressing question: How much of a person is buyable? (Think of prostitution.) And how much of a person is involved when you're being seduced by a seller? (For example: in the US i'm friendly to the waiter although i pay him to be friendly, and not vice versa.)

So, what is money really worth?

I often have these things which i call "D-Days" (depression days) which can last up to a week, and come up to every 3 days. I'm moody, sad, depressed, and can't concentrate at all. I'm a beader/reader/writer/artiste. I need something to snap me out of it, normally really creative ideas i can turn into a subject help. One of my favorite "snap out of it" projects was guitar pick earrings, which i luvved. I tried reading "Creative Technique" mag, but to no avail. I even tried the websites they advised. Squat. Its been going on for 2 days so far, and i really wanna stop it before i've gotta go back to school, so time is limited?

I absolutely hate these books. And I don't care if nobody agrees with me, I'd just like to get my point across.

(and I've read the first 4 books, so I know what I'm talking about)

First of all, nothing that happens in these books is really worth writing about. Massie's friends decide to start a new clique, there's a new girl at their school who's hotter than Massie--so what?? By the 3rd book, Claire gets sucked into this whole popularity thing. Don't you think that sends a bad message--"if you're not popular, you'll get nowhere in life". If these girls are so popular and mature, why do they use childish expressions like "ah-mazing,"loser beyond repair" and "Eternal wannabe"? And would it kill Ms. Harrison to put in ONE character who's not shallow and two dimensinal?

now, I have more points, but...er....my fingers are about to fall off

to keep us English (and so did many other countries). So why are some people hell bent on getting involved in Europe, giving our freedom away to a country we fought against? They obviously want to take the piss out of those who fought and lost their lives for our country, which makes me sick.

I have been working on a book of horror movie reviews. If I decided to have it published, would I need to get permission to include each film? Or is it considered fair game?

The requirements are:
1. In the intro after the attention grabber, briefly summarize the book without giving away the ending using: who, what, where, when, why, and how.

2. In the thesis identify the author and title of the book and state your evaluation of it.
3. Defend your evaluation in three major points (body) by examining the plot/storyline.
4. In the conclusion recommend (or not) the book by summarizing why with the main point reasons.....

It needs to be a 3 minute speech...anyone have any ideas on the three points that i should talk about...

Has anyone ever heard of the fairy tale, The Girl in the Paper Dress? It's like a cinderella story and there's a part in the story where she works for some dwarves/elves and finds strawberries in the snow. If anyone has a clue where I can find the book for this story please let me know or if they know the exact title.
