I need to find a well known artist but kind of like cartoony. Just not pop art.. I would also appreciate any tips on setting my work out and making it look good.

What do you want to be the fouce point in your painting
I like using bright colour myself
Have you ever look at a yellow dot do it and your see the oppsite colour to yellow.

Henri Matisse is another possibility. Roy Lichtenstein is probably considered Pop Art, but he's as cartoony as it gets.

find your own style, unless you are super good, don't try to copy anothers style.
You will find it easier, and more natural once you find your own style
